You do not need any golf experience to enjoy a golf simulator. No lessons, no clubs of your own, no dress code, and nobody waiting impatiently behind you. The setup gives instant feedback on every swing, so a first timer and a regular player can enjoy the same round together. Skill level decides your score. It does not decide whether you have fun.
What to know before you play
- No experience, lessons, or equipment required. We bring everything.
- Beginners and experienced players can play the same round together.
- Kids as young as five can take part with an adult nearby.
- Instant feedback means a good swing feels good on your very first try.
- The Feral package adds 14 games beyond golf for mixed groups.
- No dress code, no tee time, and no group waiting behind you.
- Tell us about any access needs and we will adjust the setup.
“I am not good at golf, so I will sit this one out.” We hear that at almost every event, usually from someone who ends up playing for an hour and asking when we are coming back.
Why golf got a reputation for being exclusive
The reputation is not imaginary. Traditional golf built real barriers: membership costs, dress codes, etiquette rules you were expected to already know, and the quiet pressure of a group waiting behind you while you take a third swing.
None of that is about the game. It is about the setting the game was played in. Remove the setting and golf turns back into what it always was, which is a game.
What actually changes on a simulator
Three things make the difference for someone who has never played.
You get immediate feedback
Your first solid contact registers instantly. You see the ball fly, you see the distance, and you get the small jolt of having done something right. On a real course, a beginner can go several holes before that happens.
Nobody is waiting on you
There is no group behind you and no pace of play. You can take a practice swing, laugh at a bad one, and try again. That single change removes most of the anxiety people carry about golf.
Everyone plays the same round
A seven year old and their grandparent can play together. A brand new hire can compete with someone who golfs every weekend. On a course that is genuinely hard to arrange. On a simulator it is just how it works.

About the Feral package
The Feral package adds 14 games beyond golf. It is the one we recommend when the group is young, when attention spans vary, or when you simply want a more relaxed vibe than a straight round of golf.
It is the most popular choice for kids’ birthday parties, and it is the reason mixed age family events tend to run longer than planned.
If someone in your group has access needs
Tell us in advance. Depending on the venue and the space we have, we can often adjust the hitting area for clearer approach and turning space, support seated play or shortened swings, slow the pace between shots, or bring the audio and on screen effects down for guests who find them overwhelming.
None of that is a special request. It is a normal part of setting up, and it works better when we know before the day. Our accessibility statement covers what we can adjust.
Questions from people who have never played
The things guests ask us right before they take their first swing.
Do I need my own clubs?
No. We bring everything, including clubs and balls. You just show up.
What should I wear?
Whatever you were already wearing. There is no dress code. Closed toe shoes are a good idea, and we ask that nobody swings barefoot.
How young can kids play?
Children as young as five do well, especially with the Feral package. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult needs to supervise, and younger children usually want an adult within arm’s reach while they swing.
Will I embarrass myself in front of better golfers?
In our experience this is the fear that keeps people from playing, and it almost never survives the first ten minutes. There is no gallery and no pace of play. Most groups are far more interested in the terrible shots than the good ones.
Can I play if I have a bad back or limited mobility?
Often yes, and we would rather plan for it than improvise. Tell us what you need and we will set up accordingly. Anyone with a health condition affected by physical activity should check with their own doctor first.
Is it actually fun if you are not into golf?
That is exactly what the Feral package is for. Plenty of guests never touch the golf mode and still stay for two hours.
How long does it take to learn?
You are playing within a minute or two. Getting good takes as long as it takes, but nobody needs to be good to have a good time.
